Abdio SWF Video Converter re-encodes nearly any video, audio, and image file, and converts it into a Flash SWF video. All the main video formats are supported – FLV, AVI, ASF, WMV, MOV, MKV, MPEG, RM, etc. – and many image and audio codecs – such as MP3, Ogg, APE, WAV, or MID.
The trial version, however, will only open WMV, AVI, ASF, and WMA files.

Its intuitive interface allows you to batch-convert multiple files in one single operation, regardless of the different formats the input files may have. The output – fixed to SWF - can be customized in a number of parameters. The video and audio bit rate, the aspect ratio, the frame size, and even the RealVideo decoder to be used (either FFmpeg or RealVideo DLL) can be set to the values you feel more comfortable with. The conversion process itself is really fast, and the results will always fulfill your expectations.

One of its most impressive assets is the fact that it can open and process nearly any multimedia file you can think of. Some of them (especially the image and audio files) do not seem to be the perfect input for a SWF conversion as no video is involved and no video stream will therefore be created, but that is something that only those with a fully-paid registered version can test and enjoy.

Pros

  • Intuitive interface.
  • Batch conversion available.
  • Extensive list of supported formats.

Cons

  • None.
